Self portrait by the windy ocean, California trip, March 2018

My pup and I are based in Denver, CO, USA, but I absolutely love to travel! I would love to come to your particular geography and work with you!

My written works:

As a part of my written life, I share my work with images. If you find you would like a tangible copy of something I have written, please contact me for more information on how to obtain a copy of your own

My name is Amber Lianne. I am an artist and writer, and I love people and nature. I grew up taking pictures and writing often. I was given my first camera while still a child, and I grew up with parents and teachers encouraging my photography and written works. The beautiful blend of light and shadow within my work is a constant and growing theme for me. The balance of both light and shadow in life reflected in my work is just part of how I seek to continue to grow as an artist.

As an artist, I love creating a set and utilizing the surrounding environment intentionally. My goal in the images I take is to enable the viewer to feel present within the moment it was taken, to experience the image. My style is best defined as lifestyle and artistic portraiture. I love the images that tell a story in a captured moment—when genuine emotion is captured. The artistic way of seeing life, the way moments become memories—these are the images I seek.

Art and words often work well when paired together to help a person work through some amazing things in their life. Art and words have been vastly instrumental in my own life. Perhaps they will be in yours as well.

When you book a shoot with me, it's more than a simple portrait setting. It is all about getting to know you and empower you. It is about moments and what brings you joy and life. These are the stories captured in images that you take with you from your shoot with me.
